I know, I'm slacking. I skipped another day, but...

I worked on my taxes yesterday and got them done. I had dinner with a friend, who actually gave me some great perspective regarding sales. I have been slacking on listening to Accelerated Sales Success. It is about a month in and I haven't made any sales and got fired from the job that I did have over the phone. My strengths aren't in calling people though. I know that I have difficulty with phone conversations. I was hoping to quickly overcome it and make tons of sales, but perhaps my sales will come in the form of online sales. I enjoy creating things like blog posts and videos, so that would make sense.
I worked on my trading yesterday. While I wasn't overly successful, I had some great insights into why I am not succeeding yet.
I will get better. I will master sales. I am a master trader. I am an intelligent trader. I am incredibly confident. These are the words that I'm listening to throughout the day. I believe in myself completely.

Pushing Through Procrastination

So, I have been procrastinating making phone calls for Merchant Capital Store.   I was frustrated that after 12 hours of phone calls, I wasn't able to even get a lead.  I was able to get several emails.  I should have followed up on that.  I listened the accelerated sales success again last night.  It is a simple mental block that is keeping me from taking action. My trading was average yesterday.  The trade that was upside down 30 pips hit and I earned 10 pips from that trade.  I should have taken the ten pips from one of my trades, but set a higher target of 70 pips based on a daily chart.  Towards the end of the day, I think I messed up that trade by putting another trade in on the same instrument.  At any rate, I am learning.  I am becoming more patient in waiting for the signals and becoming more and more aware of the market direction.
