Applied for a new sales position
Since I am testing out this accelerated sales success CD, I felt that I needed a sales position. I didn't hear back from Merchant Capital Store, but I may be okay with that. I have always had a timid disposition on the phone and my natural inclination is to get off the phone as quickly as possible if people don't want to talk to me. That doesn't work so well for sales. So, I applied to a job on craigslist that looks perfect for me. At least, I hope that it is perfect for me. It emphasized that I didn't need my own transportation because it was close to the metro. Score!
I didn't listen to the accelerated sales success at night last night. My phone was dead and I just didn't feel like cueing it up. So, I decided that listening during the day today would suffice. My consistency is getting better. Hopefully, my self-confidence will improve, my procrastination will fade and I'll start making sales.
I'm being more consistent with my blogging, but I need to improve on my video content creation and backlinking. I know that I can get the website to the first page of the search engine results in some categories. It does take quite a bit of work, but I know that I can do it. I've done it before. I'm also using a lot of pictures from Amazon that link to products that people can purchase.
I'm still struggling a bit with my trading. My tendency is to get out quickly when I am in profit, but hold on a little too long when I am not in profit. My losses exceed my gains. This doesn't work! I need to hold on to the winners longer and let go of the losers faster. I need to increase my win rate by not trying to take trades when I'm distracted or really quickly right after an announcement. Volatility can kill your profits when it starts going the other way on you.
What else is new? I found a fun site called ThredUp that helps you recycle your old clothes that are still in good condition. Looking forward to getting rid of some pretty dresses and hopefully finding some fun new ones.
